About Us

Going to a law firm, or an estate planning attorney can be expensive. It’s not unheard of for a law firm to charge $3,000 or more for an estate plan. If you have significant assets, or have a complicated situation, this may be necessary. But what about the rest of us? Should we prepare our trust or will online? What if it’s not done right? What are the implications of interacting with a computer that spits out pre-formed documents, will the plan protect your estate?

If you find yourself asking these same questions, you are the reason we created Trust & Wills Online. Spending $3,000 or more just isn’t in your budget, but you don’t want to rely on a computer to make the documents without a knowledgeable person being involved. At Trusts and Wills Online, your documents are prepared by paralegals and law clerks with experience working in estate planning law firms. The plans are then reviewed by independent attorneys. If you have questions about your plan, or if we have questions about the information you provided, we will call or email you. From our experience, this is the same process that occurs at many estate planning law firms. The benefit to you is we cut out the costs of fancy offices and in person meetings. We would rather provide you with an efficient process and a cost-effective estate plan.

If you have young children, but not a lot of assets yet, you may just need a Will that establishes a guardian for your children. If you have a home, or some other assets and your estate is worth $166,000 or more, you should consider creating a trust. When creating a trust, you may want to consider a power of attorney, an Advanced Health Care Directive, and a Quit Claim Deed to put your home into your trust. We have packages to cover all those options along with descriptions of each to help you determine your needs.

Maybe you have older parents, or are aging yourself, and don’t want the huge cost of a nursing home covered by Medicare to invade your estate after you pass. We have plans to protect your hard-earned estate for your heirs, not to pay Medicare after you pass.

Prepare a plan today at Trust & Wills Online! You will get the peace of mind that your loved ones will be taken care after you are gone, and in the manner you choose. If you die and don’t have a Will or a Trust, your estate will be subject to the State of California Probate Court and possibly reimbursement to Medicare for your medical expenses. Don’t let the state of California decide who gets what and how much, make your own decisions for your heirs and for your property today with one of our plans.
